Birth Control Is Good

What’s the deal with hating birth control?  It’s a good thing.  It’s not your business.  I don’t want to have a baby, but I will continue to have sex.  These are facts.  People have sex.  I’m not ashamed, but you might be.

My vagina and I like to make decisions on our own.

Now, back off and shut the hell up.

Yay!  Condoms!

  1. I think its a really good thing to make conservatives keep talking about it cuz ulitimately they will be sorry it ever came up. I grew up in a catholic family and my mom used the pill. We never talked about it and I’m sure it contributed to my personal exit from the church. I am now happy and very recovered.

  2. If you want to use birth control, go for it! I just don’t think business owners who morally oppose abortion causing drugs and artificial contraception should have to pay for it in their premiums. The HHS mandate is an issue of rights.

  3. Well, I understand that Catholics believe that sex is only for reproduction and so I understand their opposition. THAT BEING SAID, that doesn’t mean their employees believe the same and they shouldn’t be exempt from a law just because they don’t believe it.

Nobody is forcing them to use contraception, only to provide coverage for those who would like to use it. That is the difference and the point they are missing.

As for myself, I don’t have a problem with sex being a recreational activity as opposed to a procreational one. Therefore my wife and I use contraceptives. I personally believe that Catholics should stop overpopulating the planet, but that’s just me. Idiots like the Dugans (19 and counting) are contributing to a global problem.
